I might actually be going to Italy next summer~ : DDD

Our school's Latin teacher wants to take a trip to Greece and Rome and Olympia cause they're... Latin-y, and he asked all the kids who are in a foreign language/Honors Language to go as well as his own classes.

He told my Spanish and Honors class about it today, and of course, being the European spaz that I am, wanted to go. I took the handout he gave us, but didn't really think my parents would let me go over seas, even though I'd be 16 at the time we went.

Well, I came home, ate some Chinese "white rabbit" candy, and asked my mom about it. She said, "Hmmm, sounds educational. But we can't let you go alone." I did a double take and was like, "What the toaster...?" So, I talked to my older brother about it; he's about 26, so he would be old enough to qualify as a supervisor. I mean, my mom's a bitch usually so she would ruin my trip, and honestly, what 16 year old girl would want their dad to go with them on a 9 day trip to Italy? So, my brother was my last hope.

He's more than exstatic to go. He loves Greek and Roman mythology, and the second he read we were going to Olympia, he was like, "Dammit, I'm going!.... Plus, Italian girls are hot."

The only issue to overcome now, would be the payment, which student fare alone is a good 3300. But, it covers most of every cost, so I think that's pretty good for a 9 day trip to Italy; the issue is that we would have trouble getting that, let alone the extra fare for my brother to go... But I'm determined! Plus, my brother already has a pretty good paying job, so he doesn't have any complaint about working up the payment.

To think I actually might get to go to Italy in just a year and a half! I'm already squirming in my seat~

Hope you guys have a good rest-of-the-week,
Love Nisie-Sebby

"Tom, he was a piper's son

He learned to play when he was young

And all the tune that he could play

Was "Over the Hills and Far Away"

Over the hills and a great way off

The wind shall blow my top knot off"
